Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and revise 2D and 3D engineering drawings based on project and customer requirements.
- Generate detailed technical drawings, assembly drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
- Support engineers in product development, design modifications, and engineering change activities.
- Maintain accurate engineering documentation and drawing records.
- Ensure drawings comply with company standards, specifications, and quality requirements.
- Support prototype development and product improvement projects.
- Liaise with Engineering, Production, Quality, and other departments to ensure design requirements are met.
- Assist in maintaining design databases and document control systems.
- Support ad-hoc engineering projects and technical assignments as required.
Requirements
- NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, Product Design, or related discipline.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Candidates with relevant drafting or engineering design experience will have an added advantage.
- Proficiency in CAD software is required; knowledge of PTC Creo will be highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with SAP, 3D printing technologies, and Microsoft Office applications will be an advantage.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Detail-oriented with good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Willing to learn and work in a fast-paced engineering and manufacturing environment.
This is a 1-year renewable contract position, subject to project requirements and business needs.
