Creative Designer & Performance Creative Strategist

Vin’s Automotive Group is looking for a Creative Designer& Performance Creative Strategist who can create high-quality, high-performing creative assets for both organic and paid marketing channels.

This is not a traditional graphic design role.

We are looking for someone who can combine design taste, content instincts, marketing thinking, and performance creative strategy. The ideal candidate should be able to understand what makes people stop scrolling, click, enquire, visit a showroom, and eventually buy or lease a car.

You will work closely with the Marketing, Branding, Sales, andCommercial teams to develop creatives across Meta ads, social media, websites, landing pages, showroom campaigns, car launches, roadshows, EDMs, brochures,and digital campaigns.

The right person should be strong in visual design, but also curious about performance:

Which creative gets more leads? Which hook performs better? Whichoffer is clearer? Which visual angle drives better enquiry quality?

This role is suitable for someone who wants to grow beyond design execution into creative strategy, content marketing, performance marketing, and brand-building within a fast-growing automotive group.

Key Responsibilities

1. Performance Creative & Paid Ads

  • Create high-performing static and video creatives for Meta ads, Google Display, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other paid channels.
  • Develop multiple creative variations for A/B testing, including different hooks, headlines, visuals, formats, offers, and calls-to-action.
  • Translate campaign objectives into creative assets that drive enquiries, leads, showroom visits, test drives, and sales.
  • Work with the marketing team to understand campaign performance and improve future creatives based on data.
  • Build ad creatives for different customer segments, such as EV buyers, family car buyers, used car buyers, rental customers, fleet customers, and luxury car buyers.
  • Create thumb-stopping visuals and copy-led creatives that are clear, persuasive, and conversion-focused.
  • Study competitor ads and automotive creative trends to identify winning angles and creative opportunities.

2. Organic Social Media Creative

  • Design and conceptualise content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, and other organic channels.
  • Create visual concepts for car walkarounds, showroom content, customer handovers, EV education, car comparisons, testimonials, promotions, and automotive lifestyle content.
  • Work with content creators, videographers, photographers, and marketing executives to turn ideas into social-first creative assets.
  • Develop content formats that can be repeated and scaled across Vin’s business units.
  • Help improve the visual identity and consistency of Vin’s social media presence.

3. Creative Strategy & Campaign Concept Development

  • Develop campaign creative concepts for car launches, roadshows, seasonal promotions, showroom activations, and tactical sales campaigns.
  • Create campaign key visuals, messaging angles, design systems, and content adaptations.
  • Translate business goals into creative directions that are commercially effective.
  • Work with sales and marketing teams to understand customer objections, FAQs, and buying triggers, then turn them into creative content.
  • Contribute ideas for offers, hooks, ad angles, landing pages, and content themes.
  • Help build a creative testing system across paid and organic campaigns.

4. Brand, Design & Marketing Collaterals

  • Maintain brand consistency across all marketing and communication materials.
  • Design brochures, flyers, posters, showroom banners, digital ads, EDMs, newsletters, sales decks, and event materials.
  • Support design requirements for showroom visuals, events, roadshows, promotions, and car launch activities.
  • Create polished, professional, and commercially useful assets for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure all creative materials are visually strong, on-brand, and aligned with campaign objectives.

5. Website, Landing Page & Conversion Design

  • Support website, landing page, and UI/UX design requirements for Vin’s digital platforms.
  • Design landing page sections that improve clarity, trust, enquiry intent, and conversion.
  • Work with the marketing team to create campaign-specific landing pages and lead-generation pages.
  • Improve the design quality of digital touchpoints across the customer journey.

6. Creative Operations & Collaboration

  • Manage multiple creative projects while ensuring quality and timely delivery.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders including Marketing, Branding, Sales, Leasing, Insurance, and Commercial teams.
  • Collaborate with photographers, videographers, freelancers, agencies, printers, and production vendors where required.
  • Organise creative files, templates, campaign assets, and design systems for easier reuse.
  • Stay updated with design trends, social media trends, automotive content trends, and performance creative best practices.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Multimedia Design, Marketing, Advertising, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Creative Designer, Graphic Designer, Performance Creative Designer, Social Media Designer, Campaign Designer, or similar role.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing digital campaigns, social media creatives, paid ads, branding, campaign visuals, and marketing design work.
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Canva, Figma, or other relevant design tools.
  • Good sense of layout, typography, colour, branding, composition, and visual hierarchy.
  • Able to create both polished brand assets and fast-turnaround performance creatives.
  • Strong understanding of social media formats, especially Meta, TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and display ads.
  • Able to think beyond design execution and contribute creative ideas, campaign angles, hooks, and messaging.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven marketing environment.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with marketing, sales, and commercial teams.
  • Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.
  • Performance creative for Meta ads, TikTok ads, YouTube ads, or lead-generation campaigns
  • Automotive, retail, lifestyle, property, events, F&B, luxury, or agency environment
  • Social media content creation
  • Video editing or motion graphics
  • CapCut, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools
  • UI/UX design, landing page design, or Figma
  • Copywriting, hooks, headlines, captions, or ad messaging
  • Photography or art direction
  • Designing for sales campaigns, promotions, launches, or roadshows
  • Interest in cars, EVs, mobility, or automotive lifestyle

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday: 8.45am to 5.45pm
  • Alternate Saturdays: 8.45am to 12.45pm
  • Work Week: 5.25 days, alternate Saturday off

Salary Range

$3,500 to $4,500, depending on experience, portfolio, and performance creative capability.

For stronger candidates with proven experience in performance marketing creatives, paid ads, social content, motion graphics, UI/UX, automotive, retail, or agency work, salary can be reviewed accordingly.
