Trainer, South Pacific

Bang & Olufsen are looking to enhance our presence across South Pacific with a new Trainer position.

As part of our growing collaborative South Pacific team, you will play a key role in enhancing the performance of our Partner stores, a vital part of our global distribution strategy. This is a Training role focused on supporting our Monobrand and Multibrand partners, growing retail and service excellence skills, Clienteling Expertise, Product knowledge, and driving Brand loyalty and advocacy.

Based in Singapore, this position works with partners in Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, Pakistan, Cambodia as well as Australia and New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

  • Translate business objectives into actionable training programs by collaborating closely with regional sales teams, ensuring alignment with market needs and company priorities.
  • Lead training and skill development programs for partners, focusing on advanced soft skills, product mastery, and sales effectiveness to drive revenue growth.
  • Own the end-to-end training strategy for assigned markets, leading all learning and development initiatives to optimize partner performance and market penetration.
  • Organize and Support Regional Seminars for Training, Sales and Marketing to ensure a great alignment between the Partners and Bang & Olufsen Strategy
  • Champion a knowledge-driven sales culture, ensuring all partners maintain deep expertise in relevant sales and behavioural techniques and skills, supporting among others compliance with the customer experience programme.
  • Lead digital learning adoption by ensuring full engagement with Beocampus, Bang & Olufsen’s e-learning platform, optimizing partner competency and performance through technology-driven education
  • Be a collaborative and integrated member of the Team, sharing accomplishments, proposing new great activities or ways of working, collaborating on Team Projects.

What you bring

To thrive in this role, we imagine that you have approximately 5 to 8 years’ experience within a Training environment, ideally from the luxury goods industry across the Southeast Asia region.

Moreover, you bring:

  • Effective communication and networking skills, that you will utilize when building partnerships and communicating with various stakeholders.
  • High level of Energy, Positivity and Motivation to grow Selling Skills and build trust relationships with all Retail teammates in particular and all colleagues in general
  • High affinity for Luxury, Design, and Technology industries. Experience in product launches, presentations, & events
  • Experience and aspiration to work in a continuously developing and complex regional environment.
  • Language skills: Fluent in English. Any additional regional languages a significant plus (Bahasa/ Thai/ Tagalog/Vietnamese/ Khmer…)

This role is a critical part of the expanding South Pacific team and reports to the Market Managing Director South Pacific. Additionally, you will be part of the Training community globally and work closely with our head office team. The external relationships with our Monobrand partners will be paramount in this role, collaborating daily with our partners and their store teams across South Pacific to support their growth and follow our Luxury Timeless Technology strategy.

Compensation: Competitive salary and benefits package.

Location: Singapore

Start date: As soon as possible.

Travel: Approx. 50%, 2.5 days per week
