CRE Legal Counsel

We are partnering with an established organization to hire a qualified lawyer to join their Singapore office as part of the Legal team.
Reporting to the General Counsel, this role offers broad exposure across commercial, real estate, compliance, and dispute-related matters, providing a dynamic and varied in-house experience within a fast-paced international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and support on commercial transactions, contractual matters, and day-to-day business operations.
- Support a range of real estate-related matters, including leasing, property management, asset management, vendor agreements, and operational matters.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and maintain a variety of commercial and real estate-related agreements and legal templates.
- Assist with real estate transactions, due diligence exercises, and the review of transaction documentation where required.
- Support contract lifecycle management and legal risk assessment activities.
- Assist with dispute resolution and claims management, liaising with external counsel where required.
- Advise internal stakeholders on corporate, regulatory, governance, and compliance matters.
- Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Conduct legal research and provide commercially focused recommendations on legal and regulatory developments.
- Partner with business teams to identify legal risks and develop practical solutions.
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience, preferably across a mix of private practice and in-house roles.
- Experience in commercial contracts, with exposure to real estate, leasing, property, or infrastructure-related matters viewed favourably.
- Strong expertise in contract drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management, with the ability to deliver pragmatic, solution-focused legal advice.
- Experience handling cross-border matters and collaborating with diverse regional teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid commercial acumen and a practical approach to problem-solving.
