Driver Technician

We're looking for a hands-on Operations Manager to run our day-to-day service operations — leading the technician team, keeping jobs on schedule, holding service quality high, and keeping customers happy. You'll be the person who makes sure every job gets done well, on time, and that the team keeps improving.

What you'll do

• Lead the technician team — daily job allocation, dispatch, and scheduling so every booking is covered efficiently.
• Recruit, train and develop technicians, including fresh/inexperienced hires — set up onboarding, shadowing, SOPs and skills checklists so new staff get productive fast.
• Own service quality and safety — set standards, do spot-checks, handle escalations and customer complaints, and make sure work is safe and done right.
• Manage tools, parts and inventory — track stock, coordinate suppliers, and make sure technicians have what they need.
• Track performance — monitor jobs completed, response time, customer ratings, costs and revenue; report to the founder and act on the numbers.
• Coordinate bookings and customer service — work with the front-end/booking side so scheduling runs smoothly and customers are kept informed.
• Handle workforce admin — support work-permit / levy / MOM-related processes for foreign-worker technicians and ensure compliance.
• Improve and grow — find ways to make operations more efficient and support the company's growth.

What we're looking for

• Experience in operations, service or team management — ideally home services, facilities, trades, F&B ops, or similar fast-moving, people-heavy work.
• Strong people-management skills — able to lead, motivate and discipline a technician team, including foreign workers.
• Organised and calm under pressure — good at scheduling, prioritising, and solving problems on the fly.
• Customer-focused with clear communication.
• Comfortable with everyday tools — scheduling apps, spreadsheets, WhatsApp-based ops.

Nice to have

• Technical understanding of aircon / electrical / plumbing work.
• Bilingual (to communicate with foreign-worker technicians).
• Familiarity with MOM work-permit / levy processes.
• Class 3 driving licence.
