Procurement Executive (Government Sector / GeBiz) - JL

My client is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Procurement Executive. The role involves supporting procurement operations and providing advisory services to internal stakeholders, ensuring compliance with government procurement policies and achieving value-for-money outcomes.
This is a 1-year agency contract.
Key Responsibilities
Provide procurement advisory and support to divisions on procurement matters and sourcing approaches.
Prepare and review procurement submissions, including expenditure papers and award recommendation reports.
Advise stakeholders on procurement specifications, evaluation criteria, and procurement strategies.
Manage end-to-end procurement activities through GeBIZ, including:
Publishing quotations and tenders
Awarding contracts
Issuing Purchase Orders (PO) and Invoicing Instructions (II)
Processing contract variations
Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and buying divisions.
Support the review and enhancement of procurement policies, processes, and governance practices.
Provide administrative support such as data analysis, conducting procurement clinics/briefings, and other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum Diploma in any discipline.
At least 4 years of procurement experience, preferably within the public sector.
Good understanding of Government procurement policies and hands-on experience with GeBIZ transactions.
Able to multitask and work effectively both independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical, communication, and writing skills.
Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with internal divisions.
