Position Summary
• The Skin Therapist is responsible for delivering professional skin, facial, and wellness treatments while creating an exceptional customer experience that builds trust, loyalty, and long-term relationships.
• The role focuses on providing personalized consultations, recommending suitable treatment programs and home-care solutions, and supporting the achievement of outlet sales and service targets through professional, customer-centric, and conceptual selling approaches.
• The Skin Therapist reports directly to the Spa Manager.
Customer Experience & Service Excellence
• Deliver high-quality facial, skin wellness treatments professionally and consistently according to company standards.
• Create a warm, personalized, and memorable customer experience throughout the customer journey.
• Conduct thorough consultations to understand customers’ skin concerns, lifestyle, wellness goals, and expectations.
• Recommend suitable treatments and home-care solutions based on customers’ needs and desired outcomes.
• Build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat visits, customer loyalty, and referrals.
• Handle customer feedback and concerns professionally with strong service recovery skills.
• Maintain treatment quality, hygiene, cleanliness, and professionalism at all times.
Treatment Consultation & Conceptual Selling
• Educate customers on skin conditions, treatment benefits, treatment plans, and home-care routines in a professional and non-pushy manner.
• Promote and recommend suitable treatment packages, memberships, and retail products through consultation-based and solution-oriented selling.
• Link retail products naturally with treatments to support customers’ long-term skin and wellness results.
• Build customer confidence and trust through strong product knowledge and professional recommendations.
• Achieve individual and team sales targets for treatments, packages, memberships, and retail products.
• Follow up with customers on treatment progress, rebooking, and treatment continuity.
Operational Responsibilities
• Prepare treatment rooms, equipment, and products before and after each treatment session.
• Ensure treatment rooms and work areas are maintained according to hygiene and operational standards.
• Manage treatment time effectively without compromising treatment quality and customer experience.
• Ensure accurate customer records, treatment notes, and consultation details are updated in the system.
• Support outlet promotions, campaigns, events, and operational activities as required.
• Adhere to company SOPs, safety guidelines, and operational procedures always.
Teamwork & Professional Development
• Work closely with the Spa Manager and team members to achieve outlet goals and service standards.
• Participate actively in training, coaching, role plays, and skill development programs.
• Continuously improve practical treatment skills, consultation techniques, communication, and selling capabilities.
• Keep updated on new treatments, products, technologies, and promotional activities.
• Maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong customer service mindset.
Requirements & Qualifications
• Minimum secondary school qualification or equivalent.
• Professional certification in beauty, skin, facial, preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in as a skin therapist.
• Strong practical treatment skills and skin care knowledge.
• Good communication, consultation, and relationship-building skills.
• Confident in recommending treatments and retail products professionally and naturally.
• Customer-focused, proactive, well-groomed, and service-oriented.
• Able to work in a fast-paced and target-oriented environment.
• Proficient in English and Mandarin preferred.
