Assistant Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Conduct Request for Information (RFI), Invite to Quote (ITQ), and Invite to Tender (ITT) exercises, including the preparation and definition of specifications.

• Oversee IT projects to ensure alignment with project objectives and stakeholder expectations.

• Manage project scope, effectively handling changes and promptly escalating them to the Project Steering Board when necessary.

• Perform solution analysis, product selection, and secure approvals to ensure technical solutions meet business requirements.

• Define, structure, and plan assigned IT projects while providing comprehensive status reports.

• Track project milestones and ensure timely processing of invoices and payments.

• Maintain quality management of projects, focusing on adherence to time, scope, and budget constraints.

• Coordinate with internal and external resources, fostering continuous communication and alignment among all parties.

• Liaise with the Project Steering Board and Project Working Group for regular project reporting and delivery updates.

• Manage project risks and issues proactively, escalating when necessary to minimize potential impacts.

• Ensure project resource availability and allocation align with delivery goals.

• Oversee vendor management to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and Service Level Agreements.

• Ensure all projects comply with IT policies and relevant audit requirements.

• Undertake any additional duties as assigned by the reporting officer.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.

• Certification in IT Project Management (e.g., CITPM, PMP, or CSM).

• A minimum of 5 years of project management experience within the IT, Digital Service, and/or Healthcare sectors.

• ITIL certification and proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, CITPM, or Scrum) is advantageous.

• Strong interpersonal, analytical, leadership, and project monitoring skills.

• Excellent functional and technical knowledge complemented by effective communication abilities.

• Self-motivated and resourceful, demonstrating the capacity to meet project deliverables within stipulated timelines and budgets.

• Familiarity with Integrated Electronic Medical Records systems, e-Billing, Automated Rostering, CRM systems, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, and AI/RPA tools such as Power Automate or Power BI.

• Solid technical expertise in Cloud technologies, IT infrastructure, business applications, and security management frameworks.

• Proven experience in managing cross-functional projects and a successful track record in project delivery.
