Cyber Threat Hunter

Join a dynamic team dedicated to safeguarding Singapore's digital landscape as a Cyber Threat Hunter. This role focuses on identifying and mitigating advanced cyber threats, essential for the nation's digital economy.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive Cyber Threat Hunting programmes to secure Singapore’s digital infrastructure.

• Conduct advanced threat hunting activities, including hypothesis development and detailed reporting of findings.

• Manage and coordinate threat hunting initiatives with asset owners and security teams across multiple sectors.

• Analyze system and network logs, along with forensic images, to identify sophisticated threats and attack patterns.

• Draft detailed reports and present critical findings to stakeholders and senior management.

• Proactively monitor emerging cyber threats to maintain effective threat hunting capabilities.

• Participate in cybersecurity exercises and incident response activities.

• Provide expert advice on threat vectors, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in information security with practical threat hunting exposure.

• Relevant GIAC certifications such as GCFA (GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst) or GCFR (GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner).

• Proven proficiency in threat hunting methodologies and risk assessment frameworks.

• Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail for detecting subtle threat indicators.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders and presenting complex technical findings.
