Part-time School Youth Worker (Intervention & Support) | Woodlands

Job Scope

• To monitor, manage and educate students serving in-house suspension.

• To monitor, manage and educate students under the reintegration programme.

• To monitor and manage students sent out from class for time-out, and to educate them through restorative processes and teachable moments.

• To conduct proactive patrolling within the school to monitor and engage at-risk students

• To implement targeted SEL Skill building modules with selected students during TSR and CCE periods.

• Crafting and producing SEL Skill building modules.

• Provide additional support for student management in high-needs classes and other school requirements.

Qualification

• Must come from a former uniformed service background (e.g., police, prison service).

• Should demonstrate a strong passion and disposition for working with at-risk students, along with a positive belief in their potential.

Contract duration:

• 29 June 2026 to 28 June 2027, or adjusted accordingly
• Option to extend: 29 June 2027 to 28 June 2028.

Working Arrangement:

• Monday to Friday: 8:00 am to 2:00 pm (subject to change by the School with prior notice)

• Minimum 4 hours engagement per day (subject to change by the School with prior notice)

• Working hours may vary depending on the school's operational needs and the number of students requiring intervention at any given time.

Location: Woodlands

Salary: $23 – $26 per hour (approx. $3,000 – $3,400/month)
