Responsibilities:

  • Provide system enhancement support by following up progress with Head Office and Singapore, giving feedback, and supporting QA.
  • Handle customer migration by making announcements, explaining data format requirements, and arranging penny tests.
  • Manage interbank data exchange area migration by announcing to banks, clarifying data format requirements, and coordinating penny tests.
  • Oversee overall task progress and resolve issues.
  • Review To-Be plan documents in the project.
  • Conduct Fit-Gap analysis.
  • Define requirements from a Transaction Banking business perspective, summarize them, and provide feedback to the team.
  • Arrange and lead internal and inter-departmental discussions with client departments.
  • Collaborate with team members assigned to the project.



Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in any related fields.
  • Minimum with 5-8 years proven consulting or Business Analyst experience in a reputable or established consulting firm.
  • Experience working and supporting client’s banking system projects is highly preferred.
  • Experience as a Business Analyst or Consultant in banking, specifically in payments or transaction banking (cash management).
  • Strong understanding of payment data formats such as MT101, MT103, pain.001, pacs.008, camt.053, camt.052, MT940, MT942.
  • Strong consulting skills including logical thinking, issue resolution, communication, meeting facilitation, and documentation using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Project management skills such as progress tracking, issue management, scope and change control, and vendor coordination.
  • Motivation to study and quickly gain expertise in bank payment and Transaction Banking Cash areas as a Business Analyst is preferred.
  • Good communication skill in both English and Japanese (Business-level proficiency as mandatory) to liaise with Japanese stakeholders and clients.
  • High level of self-discipline, accountability, and motivation to learn the client’s business.
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to proactively drive tasks and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Experience in project management, including tracking progress, managing scope and issues, and vendor coordination is a plus.
