Engineering Manager (Fluid System Application | West)

KEY ROLES &RESPONSIBILITIES

• Partner with Sales to understand customer requirements and ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop Project Engineers and Drafters to strengthen technical capability, customer engagement, and overall team performance.
• Provide direct engineering guidance and technical problem-solving support for Custom Solutions projects and liaise with customers to resolve issues and implement improvements for recurring concerns.
• Review and approve engineering documentation, technical deliverables, material requisitions, procurement requirements, and project-related records.
• Ensure all engineering activities comply with the company Quality System, company policies, customer specifications, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Act as the primary escalation point for technical, project, and customer-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and effective stakeholder communication.
• During periods of high workload or resource constraints, step in to perform engineering work directly to support delivery commitments and maintain operational effectiveness.
• Drive quality and continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with QA/QC to strengthen engineering processes and deliver consistent outcomes.

Requirement

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Engineering, Custom Design or Project based work for Fluid System / Gas system / Vacuum system.
• Minimum 3 years of managerial and people management with good team leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of engineering project execution, engineering documentation, procurement processes, testing, and commissioning activities.
