Construction Manager (Data Centre / Telecom Projects)

Overview:

This role involves coordinatingmanpower, monitoring progress, and supporting quality checks for successfulproject delivery

Your Role:

• Supervise and coordinate all mechanical works at the construction site, including equipment installation, alignment, and testing.
• Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Monitor daily progress, manpower allocation, and equipment utilization to meet project timelines.
• Conduct site inspections and verify compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with engineers and other disciplines to resolve technical issues and implement design changes.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports, punch lists, and assist in material tracking.
• Ensure proper handling and installation of mechanical equipment, piping, and related components.
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Support pre-commissioning and testing activities as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Director

About you:

• Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 8 years of relevant experience across Data Centre / Telecom projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment installation
• Understanding of modular construction will be an advantage
• Familiarity with international codes and standards (ASME, API, ISO, etc.).
• Experience in site coordination and working with multicultural teams.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and site compliance requirements.
