As a Product Associate in the Market Data Services team, you will act as a primary point of contact for stock exchanges and other third-party market data vendors, supporting market data licensing for JPMorganChase proprietary applications, ensuring compliant use of licensed data, and supporting third-party vendor audits. You will collaborate with internal technology teams to understand data usage and partner with Global Sourcing and Legal to review and implement new and updated licensing. Job responsibilities
- Serves as a primary contact for exchange and third-party market data vendor relationships, supporting day-to-day queries, renewals/updates, and ongoing engagement
- Supports the implementation and maintenance of market data licensing for proprietary applications by partnering with application and technology teams to understand how data is accessed, used, and distributed
- Helps ensure compliant usage of third-party market data by translating licensing terms into practical requirements and supporting tracking/attestations where applicable
- Coordinates and supports third-party vendor/exchange audits (evidence collection, stakeholder coordination, issue tracking, and remediation follow-through to closure)
- Partners with Global Sourcing and Legal to support review and implementation of new and updated licensing terms, including assisting with contract interpretation and operationalization
- Builds strong relationships with vendors/exchanges and internal stakeholders to maintain appropriate licensing coverage in a continually evolving market data landscape
- Communicates clearly across business, technology, legal, sourcing, and vendor stakeholders; escalates risks/issues with appropriate context and recommended actions
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accountancy, Economics or equivalent
- Formal training or 2+ years applied experience in project management, compliance, audit, vendor management or operations
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder management across internal teams and external vendors
- Basic understanding of market data concepts and common vendor offerings (e.g., difference between data feeds and terminals; how market data is used within financial institutions)
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills with attention to detail; ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience reading and understanding contracts/terms (e.g., licensing terms, usage restrictions, audit clauses) and applying them in day-to-day execution
- Audit experience (e.g., supporting or running audits, working with business stakeholders, gathering evidence, managing actions to closure)
- Foundational technical knowledge, including conceptual understanding of application development and core infrastructure components (e.g., networks, servers), sufficient to partner effectively with technology teams Understanding of AI tools or automation to enhance workflows and improve efficiency
