Facilities Technician (M&E / Building Maintenance)

• Position: Facilities Technician
• Location: Tuas Crescent - Company transport provided (Pick up point at Jurong East and Marsiling MRT)
• Working hours: 5 days(11.30am – 8.45pm)
• Salary (commensurate on experience): Up to $4000 + Bonus + 14 days annual leave + Medical + Hand phone allowance $50 & Shift allowance $300)
• Duration: Permanent
• Industry: Wholesale of diesel-powered generators

Main Responsibilities

• Work closely with Senior Facilities Engineer to ensure all services/operations are running smoothly without unscheduled disruption and in compliance to all relevant authorities’ requirements. Such authorities includes but are not limited to authorities like SCDF, BCA, NEA, MOM, FSB, URA, EMA, PUB, JTC etc.
• Support and execute preventive maintenance programs for building equipment to ensure that building equipment are inspected/tested to meet authorities’ requirement.
• Liaise with vendors and contractors to ensure all building services works are done in compliance to contract or work orders.
• Daily operation and routine inspection of building facilities.
• Take regular meter readings and ensure system is operating in optimal condition.
• Perform general maintenance including building works repairs, electrical, air-conditioning and plumbing & sanitary systems.
• Supervise / manage outsourced security and ensure security procedures are in place and being carried out at all times.
• Perform the role of 2nd in-charge of Site Incident Controller (SIC), and be part of the Company Emergency Response Team (CERT).
• Assist Fire Safety Manager (FSM) in conducting regular fire safety inspection of the premises, and cover the role of FSM during his absence.
• Other duties as assigned by immediate superior.

Requirements

• Minimum NITEC in Engineering (Mechanical & Electrical/ Building Services/ Facility Management or equivalent)
• Technical knowledge in building, mechanical and electrical systems
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in maintenance related field
• Possess class 3 driving license an added advantage
