Job Summary

Drive sales growth by developing strategies, managing key marine sector accounts, and delivering technical solutions across Singapore, India, Taiwan, and Japan.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets across Singapore, India, Taiwan, and Japan
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with shipowners, shipyards, and offshore sectors
  • Manage and expand key client relationships to increase account value and customer loyalty
  • Prepare and manage commercial proposals, tenders, and RFQs from initiation to closure
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform sales tactics
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to the overall regional growth strategy
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers in the marine sector to enhance customer engagement
  • Collaborate with service partners to strengthen market presence and drive joint growth initiatives
  • Share market insights and support strategy development during sales meetings
  • Analyse sales performance data and prepare regular reports for leadership review
  • Present compelling value propositions to customers, emphasizing SAACKE Group’s advantages
  • Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, conferences, and industry events to network and generate leads

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Proven sales success, preferably within the maritime industry
  • Degree in Engineering, Maritime Studies, or a related field
  • 5–10 years of maritime sales experience, ideally involving boiler systems, equipment, or technical solutions
  • Established network within shipowners, shipyards, or offshore industry
  • Solid understanding of marine systems or related equipment
  • Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated negotiation skills
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management capabilities
