Optical Polishing Technician

- Perform optical polishing operations, including machine setup, pad conditioning, slurry preparation, and in-process inspections.
- Optimize polishing parameters to achieve required surface quality and consistency.
- Conduct optical and mechanical measurements, including diameter, bevel, center thickness, concentricity, wedge, and form error.
- Perform machine alignment, calibration, and polishing defect troubleshooting.
- Support production equipment setup and basic troubleshooting activities.
- Carry out lens cleaning, handling, and inspection according to optical quality standards.
- Record measurement results, process deviations, and equipment observations accurately.
- Maintain workplace cleanliness, safety compliance, and quality standards.
Requirements
- Min NITEC or Diploma in Optics, Precision Engineering, Mechatronics, or relate disciplines.
- Min 3–5 years of experience in optical polishing, precision manufacturing, or related industries.
