Building Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Building Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and management of our property. You will serve as the primary point of contact for all building-related matters, ensuring a safe, well-maintained, and efficiently run facility for tenants, residents, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee building improvement projects, renovations, and cyclical maintenance works
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and contractor performance
  • Ensure all works comply with relevant building codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

MCST Management

  • Serve as the liaison between the Management Corporation Strata Title (MCST) council, subsidiary proprietors, and service providers
  • Prepare and present reports for council meetings and Annual General Meetings (AGMs)
  • Manage MCST budgets, sinking funds, and financial reporting
  • Ensure compliance with the Building Maintenance and Strata Management Act (BMSMA)

Facilities& Operations

  • Supervise building maintenance, security, cleaning, and landscaping contractors
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure the property is maintained to a high standard
  • Manage emergency response procedures and coordinate repairs as needed
  • Handle tenant or resident enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally

Compliance& Administration

  • Maintain accurate records of contracts, warranties, permits, and maintenance logs
  • Ensure adherence to fire safety, workplace safety, and environmental regulations
  • Coordinate with government agencies (BCA, SCDF, NEA, etc.) for inspections and approvals

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management, Building Services, Real Estate, or a related field
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in building or facilities management, preferably with MCST properties
  • Strong knowledge of BMSMA and strata management practices in Singapore
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with property management software is a plus
