Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am – 6 pm Salary: SGD 4,000 – SGD 5,000 + Commission + Performance Bonus
Job Summary
We are seeking a Loan Business Relationship Manager to support client acquisition and portfolio growth within the SME financing sector, with a focus on unsecured working capital loans for businesses in Singapore. The role involves managing the full financing process, including business development, preliminary credit assessment, loan structuring, deal execution, and post-disbursement account management.
Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition
Identify and acquire SME clients requiring unsecured working capital financing solutions.
Develop new business opportunities through direct sourcing, referrals, and partnership channels.
Sales Pipeline Management
Maintain a consistent pipeline of prospective SME borrowers.
Manage sales activities from prospecting to deal closure.
Credit Assessment
Conduct preliminary assessments of financing applications, including review of: Financial statements Bank statements ACRA business information
Prepare and submit supporting information for internal credit evaluation.
Financing Solutions
Recommend financing structures based on business cash flow and funding requirements.
Present suitable financing solutions to clients.
End-to-End Deal Management
Lead Generation → Client Engagement → Application Submission → Negotiation → Disbursement
Stakeholder Coordination
Liaise with internal credit and operations teams to facilitate loan processing and disbursement.
Relationship Management
Manage post-disbursement client relationships, including renewals and repeat financing opportunities.
Portfolio Monitoring
Monitor repayment performance and support account renewals where applicable.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in SME financing, business loan sales, unsecured lending, or related financial services.
- Experience in originating and managing unsecured business loan transactions in the Singapore market.
- Knowledge of SME financial analysis, including interpretation of financial statements and cash flow assessment.
- Familiarity with basic credit assessment principles and financing processes.
- Experience in managing business development and client relationships within SME financing.
- Existing network of SME clients, brokers, or referral partners will be an advantage.
- Experience in fintech lending or alternative financing platforms will be an advantage.
