QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Roles & Responsibilities

• Taking off quantities, sourcing sub-contractors & suppliers, pricing and preparation of tender submission for all kinds of project especially R&R, A&A and Paints projects
• Evaluation of price comparison and costing summary
• Project administration and documentation include preparation of interim valuations, pricing and agreement of contract variations, update claim submissions, preparation of final accounts
• Carry out site measurement
• Evaluation and certification of sub-contractor’s progress payments
• Other quantity surveying related duties
• Manage Pre-Tender to post contract stages.
• Responsible for contract documentation.
• Attend meeting and assists Project Manager in contract matters.
• Preparation of monthly progress claim to client and submit claim for variation works.
• Closing of final account for projects.
• Liaise and establish support with Clients, Consultants, Quantity Surveyors, Architects, Developers and Contractors on certificate of claims for payments.
• Ensure timely and justifiable certification of payments from clients.
• Keep track of progress claim status and Accounts Receivable.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building construction or other relevant discipline
• At least 5 years of QS experience in the construction of Civil or Building projects and/or building variation works Including A&A and R&R projects.
• A proven track record of successful project implementation in construction industry
• Proficiency in understanding construction technical drawings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
