Mechanical engineer

Job Description & Requirements

• Act as a client representative mechanical design engineer for JTC and various ministries for the development of building and infrastructure projects
• Formulating the project briefs for consultant tender
• Managing the consultants and reviewing their design drawings, technical calculations and specification, in the interest of the clients, from design until the project completion.
• Develop innovative solutions to integrate building and facility layout to optimize land resource.
• work with our partners and academia on technologies research and deployment as well as customers to provide solutions to improve production layout efficiency.
• plan and conceptualise new and advanced engineering related technologies areas in our building facilities.
• Also draft specifications, call tender, review and recommend tender awards as well as plan and implement annual budget and workplans.

Requirements

• Background in Mechanical Engineering, with at least 5 years of relevant working experience in consultancy & design or construction companies. Being a Professional Engineer will be an added advantage
