Daily Operations

Workflow Coordination: Oversee the opening and closing of the salon, daily appointment scheduling, and walk-in traffic.

Hygiene Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and sanitation regulations mandated by the Singapore Ministry of Health (MOH) and the National Environment Agency (NEA).

Facility Management: Ensure equipment is properly sterilized and maintained, and the salon environment remains clean and inviting

Staff Management & Leadership

  • Manpower Planning: Develop staff rosters, manage shift allocations, and ensure adequate manpower coverage during peak hours and weekends. [1, 2]
  • Recruitment & Training: Hire, onboard, and train new stylists, beauticians, and front-desk staff. [1]
  • Performance Tracking: Set sales targets, evaluate employee performance, and provide coaching to improve technical skills and service standards

Business Development & Financials

  • Sales Targets: Monitor daily/monthly sales performance and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability.
  • Inventory Control: Track stock levels of hair/beauty products, order supplies, and manage vendor relationships.
  • Marketing & Promotions: Execute in-store promotions and manage digital/social media campaigns to attract new customers and drive repeat visits

Customer Relations

  • Service Excellence: Ensure clients have a premium, seamless experience from the moment they book to when they leave.
  • Conflict Resolution: Handle customer feedback, address inquiries, and resolve escalated complaints professionally


Proven experience in salon management or a similar managerial role.

Strong knowledge of the beauty and salon industry.

Exceptional leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Business acumen, including budgeting and financial analysis.

Proficiency in salon management software and Microsoft Office.

Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering a high level of service.

Organizational and problem-solving skills.
