Fabric Analytics Data Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions using Microsoft Fabric and BI tools.

• Build and maintain data models, semantic models, and data pipelines for insurance analytics.

• Perform data extraction, transformation, validation, and reconciliation across multiple source systems.

• Support insurance reporting across Policy, Claims, Underwriting, Finance, Customer Analytics, and Regulatory functions.

• Collaborate with business teams to translate requirements into data-driven solutions.

• Ensure data accuracy, governance, and quality standards across reporting platforms.

Skills/Requirement

• Hands on experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence or Reporting

• Strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, SQL, DAX, Power Query (M Language).

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric components: Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, OneLake, Dataflows Gen2, Semantic Models, Pipelines, Notebooks.

• Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing, ETL/ELT, Data Modeling, and Data Governance.

• Hands-on experience with Qlik Sense/QlikView or Tableau.

• Strong experience working with data including Policy, Claims, Underwriting, Billing, Finance, and Customer Analytics.

• Good understanding of insurance processes, KPIs, and regulatory reporting requirements.
