Malaysia Ecommerce Manager

We're looking for a hands-on

E-Commerce Manager

to own and grow our Malaysia e-commerce business end-to-end. You'll manage our storefronts across Shopee MY, Lazada MY, and TikTok Shop MY, drive sales performance, and lead our social commerce efforts in the Malaysian market. This role reports directly to the business owner.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Management

  • Own day-to-day operations across Shopee MY, Lazada MY, TikTok Shop MY, and the House of Perfume website
  • Manage product listings, pricing, inventory syncing, and promotional calendars across all channels
  • Optimise store health metrics — search ranking, conversion rate, fulfilment SLA, seller ratings
  • Maintain and update the HOP website (product pages, banners, promotions, basic CMS updates)
  • Plan and execute platform campaigns (11.11, 12.12, Raya, Merdeka, etc.) with aligned website promotions

Sales & Growth

  • Drive GMV targets across all platforms
  • Analyse sales data and identify gaps, opportunities, and fast-moving SKUs
  • Manage platform ads (Shopee Ads, Lazada Sponsored, TikTok Ads) to hit ROAS targets
  • Coordinate with the Singapore team on stock replenishment and cross-border fulfilment

Social Commerce

  • Manage TikTok Shop live selling coordination and content planning
  • Source and manage affiliate creators / KOLs for TikTok Shop
  • Work with content creators or produce simple content briefs for product videos and reels
  • Monitor social commerce trends specific to Malaysia (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook)

Reporting & Operations

  • Produce weekly/monthly sales reports with clear insights and action plans
  • Track competitor pricing and promotions across platforms
  • Coordinate with the finance team on payouts, reconciliation, and returns
  • Flag operational issues proactively and resolve platform disputes or seller penalties

Requirements

Must-Have

  • 3–5 years of hands-on e-commerce experience, specifically on Shopee MY and/or Lazada MY
  • Experience managing a brand's own e-commerce website (Shopify, WooCommerce, or similar)
  • Proven track record managing platform campaigns and hitting GMV/revenue targets
  • Solid understanding of platform algorithms, SEO, and ad tools
  • Experience with TikTok Shop (seller centre, affiliate programme, or live commerce)
  • Comfortable with data — able to read dashboards, pull reports, and act on numbers
  • Strong written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Based in Malaysia (Klang Valley preferred but open)
