Responsibilities
Application Development & Customization
Design, develop, and customize business applications using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
Build and maintain web applications and extensions using .NET (C#), JavaScript/TypeScript, and HTML/CSS; develop reusable components and follow secure coding standards.
Create Power Apps and automate workflows using Power Automate to streamline business processes.
Develop integrations between Dynamics 365, and external systems and custom connectors.
Participate in requirements gathering, process mapping, solution design, and technical documentation.
Troubleshoot, debug, test, and deploy solutions following coding standards and quality best practices.
Systems Integration, Optimization & Reliability
Optimize system performance, ensuring applications remain robust, scalable, and aligned with business growth.
Conduct regular system health checks, version management, and maintenance activities.
Ensure seamless information flow across sales, service, operations, logistics, and corporate functions through welldesigned integrations.
Manufacturing & Operational Digitalization
Support digital initiatives related to service operations, inventory management, customer service workflows, and manufacturing processes.
Enable improved shopfloor visibility, asset tracking, and operations reporting through digital applications.
Collaborate with operations teams to identify automation and digitalization opportunities that reduce manual work and enhance cycle times.
Data Quality, Reporting & Governance
Design data structures, business rules, and validation workflows that improve data accuracy and consistency.
Enable crossdepartmental reporting and dashboards through Power BI or integrated data sources.
Uphold data governance, system integrity, and traceability across all digital platforms.
Cybersecurity, Compliance & Documentation
Ensure all applications adhere to Mazak Group’s cybersecurity, compliance, and audit requirements.
Maintain clear and updated technical documentation, solution diagrams, and change logs.
Apply secure development practices and enforce appropriate access controls in collaboration with IT.
Project Management & Business Partnership
Support planning, execution, and delivery of digitalization projects, including scope management, timeline tracking, and stakeholder communication.
Work with HQ on global or regional digital platforms and technology standards.
Provide user training, system guides, and change management support to enhance adoption and system usability.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
Identify opportunities to automate manual tasks, improve workflows, and enhance user experience.
Evaluate new digital capabilities, tools, and technologies that can support Mazak’s digital transformation roadmap.
Contribute ideas aligned with Kaizen, 5S, and Japanese management principles to continuously improve processes.
User Support & Operations
Provide technical support to internal users, resolving application issues quickly and effectively.
Manage system releases, updates, and deployments with minimal operational disruption.
Ensure high system uptime and reliability through proactive monitoring and issue management.
Requirements
Core Competencies & Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
2-3 years of experience in application development.
Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CE/CRM) and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
Strong programming skills in .NET (C#), JavaScript/TypeScript, and SQL; hands-on with Power Fx for Power Apps logic (plus HTML/CSS is a plus).
Familiarity with Dataverse, custom connectors, and integration patterns.
Understanding of SDLC, DevOps, and version control tools (e.g., Git).
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred: Microsoft certifications (e.g., PL-400, MB-200) or experience with Azure Services, SharePoint, Power BI or experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Experience collaborating with external system integrators (SI) and vendors—managing requirements, solution design reviews, delivery governance, testing/UAT, and handover.
Experience working with SaaS platforms (e.g., enterprise business applications), including configuration, integration, security/access management, release coordination, and support operations.
Background in working with system integrators and/or software companies is advantageous (client-facing delivery, multi-stakeholder coordination, structured documentation).
