Sales Engineer (Semiconductor Industry)

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with leading semiconductor fabs, OEMs and internal technical teams to deliver innovative equipment solutions.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.

  • Identify customer requirements and recommend suitable semiconductor equipment and technical solutions.

  • Manage key customer accounts and build long-term partnerships with decision-makers and stakeholders.

  • Conduct customer visits, understand application requirements and provide consultative sales support.

  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations, quotations and product proposals.

  • Lead commercial discussions, pricing negotiations and follow-up activities to secure business opportunities.

  • Work closely with engineering, operations and design teams to ensure customer requirements are fulfilled.

  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and successful market launches.

  • Monitor sales forecasts, bookings and account performance to achieve business targets.

  • Conduct market intelligence activities, including competitor analysis and identifying emerging opportunities.

  • Coordinate customer feedback and escalations with internal teams to ensure timely resolution.

  • Maintain sales records, reports and documentation through SAP and internal systems where required.

What We're Looking For

  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines.

  • Preferably a minimum of 2 years' engineering sales experience within semiconductor equipment industry or related technical sectors.

  • Experience engaging customers in semiconductor manufacturing environments will be advantageous.

  • Strong communication, presentation and relationship management skills.

  • Comfortable interacting with both technical teams and commercial stakeholders.

  • Self-motivated, proactive and results-oriented with strong business acumen.

  • Ability to identify opportunities, develop customer relationships and close sales effectively.

  • SAP knowledge will be an added advantage.
