Production Manager

We are seeking a Production Manager to lead and oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and delivery commitments are achieved safely and efficiently. The role will be responsible for managing production resources, driving operational improvements, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily production operations to ensure output, quality, and delivery targets are achieved.
• Plan and allocate manpower, machines, and resources to maximise productivity and efficiency.
• Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of customer orders.
• Work closely with Planning, Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance teams to resolve production issues and minimise downtime.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
• Monitor and control production costs, material usage, and scrap rates.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, work instructions, and operating procedures.
• Lead, train, and develop production supervisors and operators to build a high-performing team.
• Maintain a safe and organised working environment in compliance with workplace safety requirements.
• Prepare and review production reports, performance metrics, and improvement plans.

Key Skills & Requirements

• Experience managing production operations within a manufacturing environment, preferably plastic injection molding.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, process optimisation, and manpower management.
• Familiarity with injection molding processes, troubleshooting, and production control.
• Good understanding of quality systems and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
