Job Summary

The Commercial Manager will oversee commercial activities for local projects in Malaysia, driving bid management, cost accounting, and stakeholder support to ensure profitable project execution and informed commercial decisions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales managers to analyze and clarify customer commercial requirements for project bids
• Manage commercial bid processes by preparing Statements of Compliance and addressing commercial clarifications to meet client expectations
• Perform cost accounting aligned with project scale to generate accurate profit and loss statements and Bills of Quantity (BOQ)
• Deliver commercial decision support by providing stakeholders with actionable financial insights and risk assessments
• Maintain and update commercial information on ongoing projects to ensure accurate tracking and reporting
• Gather and analyze competitor commercial data to inform strategic positioning and bidding strategies
• Coordinate internal commercial approval processes to ensure compliance and timely project progression
