Job Summary
Lead the Squash For All initiative to grow squash participation across diverse communities. Manage outreach programs, stakeholder relationships, marketing campaigns, and event operations to advance Singapore Squash’s mission and national sports objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, strategizing, and execution of the Squash For All community outreach initiative to increase sport participation.
- Develop and implement marketing initiatives and social media campaigns to drive engagement and awareness of squash programs.
- Create compelling promotional content to attract participants and support event publicity across multiple platforms.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with coaches, vendors, event partners, schools, government agencies, and non-profit organizations to support program goals.
- Prepare, monitor, and manage event budgets and expenditures to ensure financial compliance with SSRA, SportSG, and Charity guidelines.
- Conduct procurement activities adhering to organizational policies and coordinate timely processing of payments, claims, and reconciliations with the Finance Manager.
- Produce post-event reports including operational reviews and performance metrics to evaluate program effectiveness.
- Lead Capability Development initiatives focused on training and developing Coaches and Technical Officials.
- Provide operational and programmatic support for other SSRA initiatives and events as needed.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management, Marketing, Business Management, or related discipline preferred; diploma holders with relevant experience are welcome.
- Two years of relevant experience in sports, community outreach, or education sectors preferred.
Skills & Attributes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) to manage communications and reporting.
- Familiarity with design tools such as Canva or Adobe to support marketing content creation is a plus.
- Knowledge of social media platforms and trends, with a willingness to learn and apply new digital engagement strategies.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills to engage diverse stakeholders effectively.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills to coordinate multiple initiatives and events efficiently.
- Creative and resourceful problem solver capable of independent thinking in a dynamic environment.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced event settings requiring meticulous attention to detail.
- Positive and approachable character with a passion for sports and wellness.
