[What the role is]
This is a 2-year contract position as a Lecturer, Business Psychology in the School of Business & Accountancy.
[What you will be working on]
As a Lecturer, you will:
Develop and deliver curriculum (including online courses) and assessments for full-time and part-time courses for students and adult learners.
Supervise student projects and internships with industry partners.
Counsel and mentor students to support their learning and personal development, provide education and career guidance, and coach them for competitions.
Undertake academic-related administration and committee work, support outreach activities and study trips, and ad-hoc projects that support the school’s mission.
Plan, lead, manage and develop industry projects.
[What we are looking for]
At least 3 years of relevant industry experience; teaching or training experience is a plus.
Relevant industry certifications in behavioural science, cognitive science, psychometrics or related areas will be an added advantage.
Training and Adult Educator Professional Pathway (TAEPP) registered.
Confident in teaching behavioural science and applied behavioural insights (BI) in areas such as workplace experience, digital consumer behaviour, strategic communications, and related topics for both PET and CET programmes.
Proficient in behavioural research, behavioural diagnosis, intervention design, and experiment design; knowledge of psychology, psychometrics, data modelling and analysis, human-centred design, UI/UX design, communications, or organisational development is an added advantage.
A passionate educator with a nurturing mindset and strong rapport with students.
A team player with strong presentation and communication skills.
Creative in using digital tools and tech-enabled strategies to enhance student engagement.
A team player who thrives in a dynamic environment and can manage multiple projects independently.
Having access to industry partners/networks will be an advantage as you may be required to spearhead new development initiatives and industry collaborations.
