Job Summary

The Cook supports cooks and chefs by preparing various foods, ensuring timely service, maintaining kitchen safety and hygiene, managing food requisitions, and storing food items properly.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare Dosa, prata, chappathi, and goreng dishes skillfully to meet customer orders on time
  • Assist cooks and chefs in food production to maintain smooth kitchen operations
  • Follow food and beverage safety and hygiene policies to uphold health standards in the kitchen
  • Implement operational procedures that enhance service quality and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized food and beverage production environment
  • Apply quality control procedures to ensure food meets required standards
  • Receive, inspect, and store food products properly to preserve freshness and safety
  • Respond promptly and effectively to service challenges to maintain smooth kitchen workflow
  • Assist in making accurate requisitions for food items to support kitchen inventory management

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Experience preparing South Indian dishes
