Head Chef
The Head Chef is responsible for the overall leadership, performance and development of the kitchen operation at Stamford Social.
This is a hands-on role requiring a balance of culinary leadership, operational excellence,financial accountability and team development.
The Head Chef will oversee all food preparation and service, ensuring consistent quality, efficiency and presentation across breakfast, lunch and dinner offerings.
Responsibilities include menu development, food cost management, inventory control, supplier management, labour planning, compliance with food safety standards and the leadership of a team of approximately six to eight kitchen professionals.Working closely with the General Manager, the Head Chef will contribute to menu engineering, seasonal promotions and the overall commercial performance of the business.
We are looking for a chef who is equally comfortable managing food costs and labour as they are creating new dishes,mentoring young chefs and helping shape the identity of Stamford Social.
The ideal candidate will stay connected to industry trends, bring fresh ideas tothe table and continuously look for opportunities to improve the guest experience.
Strong leadership, approachability and a willingness to engage with both guests and the front-of-house team are essential.
