Quantity Surveyor cum BIM Modeler

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee day-to-day construction management of projects and provide timely updates to management

  • Manage project team, site supervisors, workers, materials and equipment effectively and efficiently

  • Procuring and allocating resources to ensure no shortages while avoiding any unnecessary delays

  • Monitor and supervise entire project team to ensure compliance of work and to ensure works are delivered in a timely manner and in accordance with quality standards

  • Establish strong working relationship with all stakeholders including staff, workers, contractors, suppliers, clients etc. to ensure smooth operations of projects

  • Manage manpower costs, project costs and expenses to ensure optimal cost benefit

  • Attend and/or chair meetings with clients, architects, engineers and workers

  • Identify possible risks to projects and stakeholders, create contingency plans to mitigate risks, and respond quickly to work delays, emergencies and other problems

  • Oversee all inspection activities including quality and workplace safety safety and health checks

  • Prepare progress reports for each project

  • Ensure all changes to specifications, work scopes and drawings are properly documented

  • Manage site document filing and record keeping in accordance with International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) standards

  • Any other ad-hoc projects and duties as required by the management

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Minimum Diploma holder in Civil Engineering/Building or equivalent

  • Singaporean/PR preferred

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant industry

  • Proficient in reading and understanding CAD (2D & 3D) and Revit BIM drawings

  • Strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills

  • demonstrate high levels of integrity, professionalism and technical competency

  • Highly knowledgeable in project processes and procedures, building regulations, and health and safety legislation

  • Good written and spoken English

  • Able to commit 6 days per week

  • Required to work in construction sites and factory

  • Candidates with Class 3 driving license and own vehicles preferred.
