Senior Supervisor, Instrumentation

Duties and Responsibilities:
- The Instrument Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair of instrumentation and control systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. This role typically exists in industries such as oil & gas, petrochemical.
- Ensure proper installation, calibration, testing, and maintenance of field instruments and control systems.
- Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams for smooth plant operations.
- Oversee maintenance and reliability of control systems (DCS/PLC/SCADA) and Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS/ESD).
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation systems (pressure, flow, level, temperature, analyzers, control valves, PLC/DCS systems).
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of oil & gas instrumentation systems and process control.
- Strong commitment to HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or refinery environments.
