Product Engineer

The Role

As our Product Engineer, you’ll play a hands-on role in turning ideas into real-world products. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you’ll support enclosure design, rapid prototyping, product testing, and manufacturing transfer activities to help bring innovative optical technologies from concept to deployment. You will:

• Design and prototype enclosures, fixtures, and mechanical assemblies for our products.
• Create CAD models, engineering drawings, and 3D-printed prototypes.
• Support product integration, testing, and design improvements.
• Work with suppliers and contract manufacturers to improve manufacturability and product quality.
• Support manufacturing transfer, assembly documentation, and product validation activities.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, optics, and chemistry teams to bring products from concept to deployment.

Requirement

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Product Design Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Familiar with CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Onshape, or similar platforms.
• Hands-on experience with prototyping, 3D-printing, fabrication, or product development projects.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn across multiple engineering disciplines.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with evolving priorities.
• Experience with DFM, product development, manufacturing, or consumer/portable devices is an advantage.
