Senior Business Systems Analyst | Banking & Financial Services

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to support Head Office system enhancements, change requests (CR) and BAU activities for a leading international bank. The role will act as the primary liaison between the Singapore team and Head Office in Japan, ensuring timely delivery of system changes and stable day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage system enhancements, upgrades and CR workflows from intake to delivery using tools such as JIRA and Confluence.

• Gather, analyze and validate business and system requirements; perform impact analysis to ensure timely implementation.

• Coordinate project activities, track progress across teams and prepare status reports, documentation and stakeholder updates.

• Handle BAU support and troubleshoot to maintain smooth system operations.

• Identify risks and issues, drive resolution and escalate as appropriate.

• Support project coordination and PMO activities using MS Project where required.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in Business Analysis, IT project work or PMO functions, preferably within banking/financial services.

• Strong CR management and system enhancement experience.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; good English communication.

• Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence and MS Project.

Preferred

• Experience with core banking systems and experience working with Japanese banks or global stakeholders; Japanese speaking is a plus.
