About the Role

Our client is seeking a Strategic Initiatives Lead to support business-critical initiatives across payments, digital assets, and emerging financial infrastructure.

This role sits at the intersection of business, operations, product, compliance, and technology, and will play a key role in driving cross-functional initiatives from concept through execution.

The successful candidate will be comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment, navigating ambiguity, influencing stakeholders, and driving outcomes across multiple workstreams. This is not a traditional project management role. Instead, it requires someone who can identify priorities, solve problems, align stakeholders, and help turn strategic objectives into execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive strategic and operational initiatives across multiple business functions

  • Partner closely with business, product, operations, compliance, legal, and technology teams to ensure successful execution of key initiatives

  • Translate business objectives and opportunities into actionable plans and measurable outcomes

  • Coordinate stakeholders across internal teams and external partners, including financial institutions, payment providers, technology vendors, and ecosystem partners

  • Support the launch and scaling of new products, services, partnerships, and market initiatives

  • Identify operational gaps, process inefficiencies, and execution risks, and drive appropriate solutions

  • Establish and improve operational frameworks, workflows, and governance processes where required

  • Track initiative progress, manage dependencies, and ensure timely delivery against business objectives

  • Prepare materials, updates, and recommendations for leadership discussions and decision-making

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline

  • Experience within fintech, payments, financial infrastructure, digital assets, blockchain, or technology-driven businesses

  • Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving business, product, operations, compliance, and technology stakeholders

  • Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and execution capabilities

  • Ability to operate independently and drive initiatives with minimal supervision

  • Comfortable working within a dynamic and evolving environment

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
