Dr. LiQi-Jing’s lab is seeking a Principal Scientist to lead the development ofnext-generation animal models for preclinical studies for drug discovery anddevelopment. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in in vivo diseasemodeling and support the development of innovative immune therapies.

KeyResponsibilities

• Lead the design and development of novel cutting-edge animal models that could improve the predictive value of preclinical studies for drug development.
• Provide scientific leadership in study design, data interpretation, and decision-making for asset progression
• Collaborate closely with immunologists and other researchers to interpret data and refine experimental strategies.
• Mentor and guide junior scientists and contribute to building a strong translational research team
• Contribute to grant applications, publications, and strategic initiatives

JobRequirements

• PhD in Immunology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, or related fields.
• Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in in vivo model development and translational research
• Strong scientific leadership with the ability to set strategy and drive execution
• Prior experience as an independent investigator (e.g., Associate/Professor or equivalent in industry) is strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of cancer biology and immunology, with a focus on immune cell therapies and tumor immunology
