DESIGNATION : Technician, Process (Integration)

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a dedicated and hands-on Shift Integration Technician to support process sustaining activities in the solar cell manufacturing line. The candidate must be willing to work rotating shifts and overtime when required to safeguard production KPIs, maintain product quality, and prevent process excursions.

Candidate should possess strong discipline, good communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Process Technician will work closely with Integration Engineers, Production, Quality, and Equipment teams to ensure stable operations and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.

Safety

  • Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times.
  • Report unsafe conditions or incidents immediately.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area according to 5S practices.

Process

  • Operate shift work to provide module power and Sunflasher sustaining function
  • Understand the operation and basic principles of module power and Sunflasher sustaining function
  • Safeguard KPIs during work and ensure Sunflasher performance is in control using SPC and perform basic OCAP troubleshooting for the integration engineers.
  • Compile and analyze data and submit shift reports for line issues.
  • Basic troubleshooting of SunFlasher problems and ensuring metrology tool stability (Measurement System Analysis).
  • Support Sunflasher preventive maintenance quality checks.
  • Work closely with the Integration engineer to perform calibration and verification work.
  • Participate in the Gold/Silver reference modules creation.
  • Perform data collection/analysis of daily module power to understand different material/equipment effects.
  • Support engineering team in Module power improvement projects.
  • Involvement in Failure Mode and Effect Discussion
  • Performing Job Observation to drive for continuous improvement
  • Performs other duties as assigned. Duties will vary according to the needs of the department
  • Training and mentoring new technicians/AE
  • Support engineering team in Module power improvement projects.

Quality

  • Work closely with Integration engineers on quality related and electrical parameter analysis, and handle low power Module troubleshooting.
  • Support containment and disposition activities for abnormal lots or process deviations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Material/ Chemical/ Mechatronic/ Semiconductor / PV

OTHER INFORMATION

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in process engineering in a manufacturing environment would be preferred.
  • Dynamic and possess production (manufacturing) experience
  • Prior experience in Solar or Semiconductors manufacturing industry preferred
  • Knowledge in Semiconductor/ Solar cell and module processes
  • Knowledge in methodologies like SPC, FMEA, RCA methodology preferred
  • Working knowledge of JMP is advantageous.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and willing to work under stress
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels (operators to managers) within the organization.
  • Ability to write and speak in English and one other language.
  • Basic application of Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
  • Must be a team player and good in communication
  • Dynamic & committed with proactive working attitude
  • Ability to initiate without being asked
  • Challenging spirit to improve current conditions
