Accounts + HR Executive

About the Role

We are a Singapore-based travel agency looking for a meticulous and independent Accounts + Human Resource Executive to manage the full spectrum of our accounting and finance operations. This is a sole-contributor finance and HR role, ideal for someone who thrives working autonomouslyin an SME environment and is comfortable managing multiple systems andprocesses with minimal supervision.

You will be taking over from a long-serving accounts and HR manager and will undergo a structured handover programmebefore assuming full responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

BSP / IATA Billing

  • Process weekly BSP (Billing Settlement Plan) billing reports via the IATA portal
  • Handle ADM (Agent Debit Memo) and ACM (Agent Credit Memo) adjustments
  • Monitor financial security utilisation against the bank guarantee limit
  • Liaise with IATA on billing queries and case resolutions

Ticketing & Refunds

  • Process ticket records and reconcile against Sabre ticketing system data fromOperations
  • Manage two types of refund applications and track refund status across airlines
  • Handle medical refund approval codes and SQ ticket closure requests via email
  • Maintain ticket stock records via Ratscloud

Payments & Banking

  • Processand reconcile payments via DBS IDEAL, PayNow, and ATM transfers
  • Manage overseas agent remittances via Airwallex
  • Reconcile credit card statements against supporting documents and exchange orders
  • Handle bank deposits at DBS

General Ledger & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate entries across GL, cash book, and payment voucher modules
  • Perform month-end closing and prepare management accounts
  • Prepareand submit quarterly GST returns to IRAS
  • Coordinate annual financial audit and submit required reports to STB (Singapore TourismBoard)

Payroll and Employee Records

  • Process monthly payroll including CPF submissions
  • Maintain payroll records and liaise with MOM/CPF Board as required
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation to support compliance and organizational needs
  • Track employee leave, claims, and payroll data to ensure proper record-keeping and reporting

Requirements

Must-Have

• 3 to 5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience in an SME environment

• Experience with GST filing and CPF/payroll processing

• Comfortable working independently as the sole finance person

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple recurring deadlines

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident

Good to Have

• Experience in the travel, airline, or tourism industry

• Familiarity with IATA BSP or Sabre systems

• Experience with DBS IDEAL or Airwallex

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
