BUS DRIVER

Safely operate buses to transport passengers along designated routes and schedules.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safety compliance.

Ensure adherence to traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations at all times.

Pick up and drop off passengers at designated stops in a timely manner.

Assist passengers with boarding and alighting when necessary, including elderly or disabled passengers.

Collect fares, verify tickets, or operate fare collection systems where applicable.

Monitor passenger behavior and maintain order and safety on the bus.

Report accidents, incidents, vehicle defects, or delays to the supervisor promptly.

Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the bus interior and exterior.

Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance issues.

Coordinate with dispatchers or operations staff regarding route changes or emergencies.

Respond appropriately to emergencies and provide assistance when required.

Ensure compliance with company service standards and provide courteous customer service to passengers.
