Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and commercially minded AI Strategy & Advisory Lead to support a strategic AI discovery and transformation engagement.
This is a hands-on consulting role focused on assessing the organization’s current AI landscape, identifying high-value use cases, evaluating feasibility and ROI opportunities, and building a practical AI roadmap aligned to ongoing enterprise transformation initiatives.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior business and technology stakeholders, including C-suite leadership, to provide strategic insight, commercial clarity, and actionable recommendations around AI adoption, operationalization and long-term value creation.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Lead a strategic discovery and advisory engagement focused on AI opportunities across the business.
- Assess existing AI initiatives, current maturity, technology constraints, and organisational readiness.
- Identify and prioritise AI and GenAI use cases based on business value, feasibility, ROI, and operational impact.
- Develop a practical AI roadmap aligned with ongoing enterprise transformation and platform migration programmes.
- Evaluate opportunities across: LLM and GenAI adoption
- Agentic AI AI-enabled operational efficiencies
- AI within technology and business functions
- Build commercially credible ROI and value frameworks for AI investments.
- Engage with business, transformation, PMO, and technology stakeholders to validate assumptions and strategic direction.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
- Provide independent advisory guidance alongside existing consulting and vendor ecosystem engagements.
Required Experience & Skills
- Hands-on and delivery-oriented mindset — able to independently conduct analysis and drive discovery activities.
- Senior but hands-on consultant/advisor.
- Strong strategic thinking combined with practical execution capability.
- Comfortable engaging with C-level stakeholders and leading executive discussions.
- Able to balance technology feasibility, operational constraints, and commercial outcomes.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to quantify business value and ROI for AI investments.
- Good understanding of: Generative AI / LLMs / Agentic AI / Enterprise AI adoption / Data and technology operating models
- Experience navigating complex enterprise transformation or platform migration programmes.
- Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to operate effectively within ambiguous and evolving environments.
Preferred Background
- Insurance or Financial Services industry experience preferred.
- Experience working with regional or global transformation programmes within regulated environments.
