Business Analyst

  1. The Candidate will lead and coordinate the successful delivery of the different projects under Tax Technology and Transformation team ensuring alignment with the teams strategy, managers and partners expectations.
  2. This role spans the full project lifecycle—from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closure—across diverse teams (Fixed bid, T&M & Support / Maintenance).
  3. Work closely with the technical leads and ensure systems are scalable, maintainable, and security compliant while implementing enhancements.
  4. Maintain clear communication channels to manage expectations and resolve conflicts between the various projects and product owners, managers and partner.
  5. Develop resource plans across concurrent projects
  6. Ensure alignment with business objectives, priorities, technical standards, and security compliance requirements
  7. Closely oversee project teams through agile and hybrid methodologies. Ensuring the relevant processes are adhered to.
  8. Monitor progress of the various milestones, maintain and manage risks, and implement mitigation strategies that are aligned with the business team
  9. Provide regular status updates – through biweekly calls, quarterly updates and weekly connects about the progress and performance metrics to stakeholders
  10. Provide close co-ordination with the support team to ensure the tickets are closed on time based on the business priorities.
  11. Engage and work closely with the dependent teams upstream and downstream to resolve issues and provide oversight for the product owners.
  12. Track and ensure the adherence to quality and the service level agreements for the maintenance applications.
  13. Ensure proper documentation is created and maintained for the activities performed.
  14. Develop and implement a proper communication and maintenance schedule for the different applications.
  15. Supervise and train team members and buffer resource on application knowledge transitions.
  16. Develop the project plan, timeline aligning with the business team. Closely monitor the overall timeline and cost.
  17. Work closely with the product owners and stakeholders to ensure the fixed bid projects are clearly defined and the milestones are achieved.
  18. Work closely with the product owners and managers to ensure the business champions needs are translated into user stories / new projects
  19. Facilitate sessions with product owners to gather and refine user stories for various enhancements.
  20. Work closely with the individual project and product owners to ensure timely delivery / UAT and rollout of project milestones while closely monitoring quality and budget
  21. Coordinate handover to support and operations teams with knowledge transition sessions and applicable documentation for any project or major enhancements.
  22. Translate user requirements into technical and functional specifications.
  23. Evaluate potential solutions and make recommendations to resolve business, technical, and user adoption.
  24. Present business cases to detail value to end-customers based on adoption of solutions, liaise with stakeholders across all levels and build strong rapport.
  25. Support the development of the business strategy by facilitating evidence-based data gathering and analysis with key stakeholders.
