Credit Risk Manager (Commercial Banking)

Responsibilities :-

• Conduct in-depth credit evaluations of commercial and corporate loan applications, including detailed analysis of business models, historical performance, underlying assets.
• Exercise approving authority to approve or recommend credit facilities to appropriate approving authority in line with the Bank’s credit policies and risk appetite.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers and Business Units to provide independent comments to credit proposals while supporting sustainable growth through training, knowledge sharing and regular feedback with stakeholders.
• Participate in various working groups / committees at Bank / industry / regulatory levels

Requirements :-

• Bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance / Business Administration / Economics or related discipline from a recognized university.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant credit evaluation & approval experience
• Well versed in credit analysis and financial modelling
• Extensive experience in the corporate/commercial credit space, with a strong emphasis on term lending, trade / working capital financing and derivative products.
• Knowledge of credit underwriting best practices and compliance/regulatory issues.
