Cost Controller (Central)

Location: Somerset

Work Hours: 5 days work week (9am-6pm)

Salary: Up to $5,000

Our client is a globally recognised luxury hotel brand operating an upscale lifestyle property in Singapore's central business district.

Job Scope:

• Analyse F&B and operational costs to identify trends, variances, and key cost drivers, ensuring alignment with budgets and profitability targets.
• Prepare and present regular financial reports, variance analyses, and forecasts, providing actionable insights and recommendations to management.
• Partner with Finance, F&B, and operational teams to support decision-making, improve efficiency, and implement cost control initiatives across departments.
• Ensure strong financial governance by maintaining compliance, strengthening internal controls, improving processes, and safeguarding hotel assets through accurate reporting and analysis.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with 1–2 years of experience in accounting, accounts receivable, or a similar finance function.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage financial transactions and records efficiently and professionally.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and experienced in using accounting or financial management systems; hospitality finance system knowledge is an advantage.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills, with the ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
