Administrative and Accounts Assistant

New Maritime Pte. Ltd. is a leading Singaporean ship management and marine fuel logistics company, owning and operating our own fleet of bunker barges with our in-house team.
Job Description
- Assist with invoice matching, verification, and supporting documentation.
- Prepare payment schedules and supporting documents for payments to vendors and suppliers.
- Assist in monthly account reconciliations by verifying transactions and supporting documentation.
- Support month-end closing activities, including the compilation, filing, and maintenance of accounting records.
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers regarding invoices, payment status, and account-related queries.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
- Maintain and update filing systems, records, and databases.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure the timely completion of administrative and accounting tasks.
- Manage stationery and office supply inventories.
- Provide support for day-to-day office administration and general administrative operations (including preparing and issuing of ad-hoc Purchase Orders).
- Perform other ad hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
- A relevant qualification or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Words
- Strong numerical skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organisational and filing skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
