M&E ENGINEER

M&E Engineer (Mechanical & Electrical Engineer)

Position: M&E Engineer
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Singapore

Job Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works for construction projects.
• Review M&E drawings, specifications, and technical submissions to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams on all M&E matters.
• Monitor site progress, quality, safety, and productivity of M&E installations.
• Conduct inspections and ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Attend project meetings and provide technical support to site operations.
• Prepare and submit progress reports, method statements, shop drawings, and material submissions.
• Identify and resolve technical and site issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore authorities' regulations, codes, and standards.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, testing, commissioning, and project handover.

Requirements

• Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident (PR) only.
• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience in construction or M&E projects.
• Familiar with local authority requirements and construction regulations in Singapore.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD. Knowledge of BIM/Revit will be an advantage.
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a project team.
• Possess good organizational and time management skills.
• Experience in commercial & industrial projects will be an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in managing subcontractors and site coordination.
• Familiarity with BCA, MOM, and workplace safety requirements.
• Possession of relevant safety certifications will be an added advantage.
