Project Director (Interior Fit-out)

Responsibilities:

  • Define project goals, execution strategies, and timelines aligned with organizational objectives

  • Oversee full project lifecycle, including feasibility studies, planning, tendering, design & technical development, construction, and handover

  • Drive site performance, construction progress, and critical path activities to meet delivery milestones

  • Mentor and lead multiple concurrent projects and teams, ensuring high-quality workmanship, timely delivery, adherence to contractual obligations, cost controls, and performance KPIs, and foster a culture of excellence, safety, accountability and collaboration

  • Oversee the local project team's coordination with in-house factory operations overseas to ensure timely production, quality control, and logistics integration

  • Work closely with the Commercial and Technical teams to ensure proper post-contract administration, align project scope, costing, and specifications with proper documentation

  • Implement and monitor QA/QC systems and ensure HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) protocols across all projects to meet client and regulatory expectations

  • Identify project risks early and implement mitigation and contingency strategies

  • Manage stakeholder expectations through regular reporting, site meetings and site walks, and transparent communication

  • Collaborate with internal teams to participate in tendering process, including strategizing and developing competitive and compliant proposals, technical clarifications, presentations, and any other activities as required

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through client engagement, networking, and market intelligence

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related discipline. PMP certification is a plus.

  • Minimum 10–15 years of experience in interior fit-out or construction project management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity.

  • Proven track record of managing large-scale hospitality, commercial, or high-end fit-out projects in Singapore.

  • Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills.

  • Familiarity with in-house manufacturing/factory operations (local or overseas) is an advantage.
