Core Responsibilities
Order Management & Fulfillment: Oversee the full Purchase Order (PO) lifecycle for designated portfolios—including specialized outsourcing and sub-contracts—while tracking Supplier OTIF metrics.
Strategic Sourcing & Contracts: Design commercial sourcing blueprints to secure cost savings, mitigate inflation, and negotiate supply contracts to improve lead times and financial terms.
Data Automation & Analytics: Create automated purchasing dashboards and data models using Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI/Power Automate) to streamline workflows.
Vendor & Dispute Resolution: Supervise external service providers, assess their performance, and partner cross-functionally (Planning, Quality, Finance) to resolve Work Order (WO) versus PO discrepancies.
Risk & Change Management: Proactively manage unexpected PO modifications to avoid factory downtime and monitor vendor schedules to prevent supply chain disruptions.
Qualifications
Years of experience of tactical procurement, material sourcing, and project management experience in a high-volume manufacturing sector.
Practical ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) tracking material configurations, years of experience building solutions via Microsoft Power Platform.
Strong understanding of supply-demand dynamics, inventory management, global metal commodity pricing, and precision machining/treatments.
