Executive, Advocacy and Partnerships

What You Will Do

You will secure sponsorships for events, maximise collaboration opportunities, and ensure successful partnerships through effective communication, coordination, and strategic planning. You will build and maintain relationships with partners, sponsors, vendors, and other stakeholders. You will organise patient-oriented events such as HCA Remembrance Day, Star PALS Family Day and Remembrance Day, and the Annual Volunteer Event, as well as mass events such as the Charity Walkathon and Open House, to support awareness and fundraising efforts.

Partnership Development

• Identify and develop strategies to approach potential partners and sponsors for events
• Develop competitive sponsorship packages and negotiate for cash and in-kind sponsorships
• Cultivate strong relationships with existing partners, sponsors, and vendors to ensure ongoing support and collaboration

Event Planning and Execution

• Work closely with external event management companies to ensure smooth execution of events
• Identify branding and collaboration opportunities that can raise top of mind awareness of HCA as leader in palliative care
• Ensure efficient branding, signage, promotional and fundraising materials on site
• Strategically integrate fundraising and sponsorships opportunities seamlessly into events
• Develop marketing and promotional strategies to use events to create visibility of HCA and participant attendance
• Ensuring efficient use of budget and adherence to 30/70 guidelines
• Prepare post-event reports and debriefs for partners and internal teams, highlighting successes, challenges, and areas for improvement

Who You Are

• Diploma or Degree in any discipline
• 1-3 years of working experience in event management, community relations and partnership relations
• Easy going and works well with all levels of seniority
• Team player who can work independently and is self-driven with a high level of accountability
